Subj: Ad-Ventures4U Update #1 for Saturday, August 29, 2009
Hello Jacqueline,
I'm use to getting a lot
emails from people, but right now things are
obviously a little more crazy than usual.
Let me show you what I'm up against:
That's right. 894 unread
messages, so please understand there is no
way I can reply to all these emails. A lot
of people are saying "Such and such
question... I know you're busy but please
respond ASAP!!!" or "HELP!!! I read your
email but I have such and such question,
please reply IMMEDIATELY!!"
Also, a lot of people are
using this situation to pitch me on their
juice product, cell phone product, HYIP,
cash gifting, etc...
Right now my focus is on the
programs that are on my
Newsletter and the programs that are
in the "back ground" that I am currently
researching. Due to yesterday's events,
Ad-Ventures4U is obviously getting a little
more of my attention than Tazoodle, Pay It
Forward Traffic or any of my research
projects at the moment.
I would politely ask that
people do not pitch me on anything right
now. I get hit up with dozens upon dozens of
offers per week when it's just "business as
usual" ... and even then there is simply no
way I can look at everything that everyone
sends me. There are not enough hours in the
day to read sales pages, watch presentation
videos, sit on conference calls and
webinars, and then try to go the extra mile
on top of that to contact admins to get even
higher quality information.
With that out of the way, I'd
like to address some of the questions that
I'm seeing again and again about
Ad-Ventures4U.
The big one is "Should I fill
out the Final Cashout form on the tools
page?" The reason for this question seems
to be based on a lack of understanding about
the future of Ad-Ventures4U with regards to
their ventures program. The question people
have is basically along the lines of this:
"I only have X amount of ventures right now,
I want to let it roll forward and get more
ventures."
Steve's emails haven't been
real clear on this point and I haven't been
able to reach him on the phone. Steve has
said that NEW members will not be able to
participate in the ventures program. He has
also stated that getting the current members
in profit mode is the current priority.
Based on my ability to add 2
and 2 together and come up with 4, I'm going
to assume that the ventures are at
least temporarily Frozen as they are. It is
not logical for Steve to allow people to get
even more ventures if his current goal is to
get everyone in profit. By adding more
ventures, that would just increase the
amount owed.
So to answer that very
popular question, if you are not in profit,
I think you should fill out the form. That
is the best answer I can give you. Please do
not ask me to elaborate or explain further
because that will just add even more emails
to my Inbox and the fact is, I can't read
Steve's mind and he's not currently taking
my calls.
The next question that comes
up a lot is "How do I know if I'm in
profit?" This question stuns me every time
I see it. One guy, who remarked in his email
that he was an accountant, told me he didn't
know how to tell if he was in profit. Wow.
Let me explain what profit
is. If I buy a product for $1 and sell it
for $1.10. Then I am in profit by 10 cents.
This is how stores manage to stay in
business. They buy products from a
wholesaler at discount, and then sell them
on the shelf at a higher price. The
difference between the lower price they pay
and the higher price they get from the
consumer is profit. Those profits allow them
to pay for their electrical bill, employee
payroll, advertising, rent or building cost,
etc...
As profit relates to
Ad-Ventures4U, it's the same thing. If you
paid $100 for 100 ventures and you have only
cashed out $30 up to this point, then you
are NOT in profit. The difference between
the $100 that you paid and the $30 that you
got back is a LOSS of $70.
That is the most basic
example. Other people have multiple venture
purchases and seem to think that these
additional purchases make the concept of
profit more difficult to understand. It does
not. If you bought $100 worth of ventures on
May 1st, and $100 worth of ventures on June
1st, and you have only cashed out $30, then
you are NOT in profit. The difference
between the $200 (total) that you paid and
the $30 that you got back is a LOSS of $170.
Still very simple, but apparently
complicated enough that some people don't
understand it.
The next question becomes
"What if I paid $100 for my ventures, cashed
out $30, and then bought 30 more ventures
with that money?" It does not change
things. You started with $100 of "seed
money", and you need to cash out (AND
KEEP) at least $100 to reach the break even
point. So in this example, all you have done
is increased your ventures to a higher level
but you are NOT in profit. Furthermore, due
to the way these things go, you are not
"entitled" to anything more than that $100
you started with. (At least not from the
point of view of the payment processor. They
don't care if you "made" $30 and reused it,
as far as they are concerned, the only money
you might be "entitled" to is the
amount of money you started with.)
In summary, figure out how
much you spent on ventures Out of Pocket.
Whether it was 1 out of pocket purchase or
multiple out of pocket purchases doesn't
matter. The total you spent out of pocket is
the total amount that you need to get back
to break even. Then every penny above that
is profit.
Do not concern yourself with
rollovers. If you started with 100 ventures
and have rolled up to 2,000 ventures, you
will be in profit when you have at least
$100.01 back in your hands. The rollovers
did not cost you anything out of pocket.
I've been through this before, and I know
that is how the payment processors look at
it.
The other popular question
I'm getting over and over again is "What
about future earnings in Ad-Ventures4U?"
Great question and I definitely
understand the confusion on this point.
(Whereas the question of "Am I in profit?"
stuns me. :) Without being able to read
Steve's mind, and without being able to
contact him on the phone for absolute
confirmation, I can only remark on this
point based on the confusing and sometimes
conflicting emails he has sent out.
What I understand is this.
The TOP priority is to get the
non-profitable members INTO profit. Using
the previous example, if you started with
$100 and now have 2,000 ventures, you are IN
PROFIT once you have $100 and 1 cent back in
your control. Once ALL THE EXISTING
MEMBERS are in profit, the
revenue share will continue from that
point forward based on profits from the Gold
Site.
Will you be able to get more
ventures in the future? I wouldn't count it.
A few weeks ago, Steve hinted very strongly
that we needed to get ourselves "leveraged"
for the future. So I believe the ventures
are LOCKED where they are. Ad-Ventures4U is
now a "private club" (of sorts) and the
existing members with ventures will be the
only ones who will share in the profits from
the Gold Site.
And those of us that are
already in profit in Ad-Ventures4U will
GET NOTHING more until ALL THE
EXISTING MEMBERS are in profit. Once all
the existing members are in profit, the
revenue share will resume across the board
based on the number of ventures you have.
Having said that, assuming
everything goes according to plan, assuming
people don't freak out and cause this whole
thing to get permanently screwed up, (which
is a lot of assuming) ... at some point in
the future, it would not come as a total
surprise to me if Steve allowed people to
buy more ventures for a limited time.
If you have emailed me about
whether or not you should fill out the form,
or whether or not you are in profit, or what
the future of the ventures program is, I am
going to assume that you got this email and
I will consider this my response to you.
This will save me from having to reply to
hundreds of emails one-by-one.
Also, if you are inviting me
to join your juice company, cell phone
company, cash gifting program, or whatever
... at this time I am declining all
invitations so I can focus on the things I
am already involved in, and so I can focus
on the programs that I am already in the
process of researching.
