How do I know Ebay will collapse by June 2010? From simple logic. Greed is the real problem. Being an Ebay power seller myself I have witnessed the many changes from within until I through in the towel like thousands of other sellers are everyday.

As you can see from the chart alone, Ebay is worth half from what is was in only 3 years. This is what happened in 2005. At the same time, Amazon is taking control and has more items for sale than Ebay. It's a turn around for sure for the book selling company now offering everything and anything.

Ebay is an out of control locomotive missing the conductor. You see, the conductor bailed out years ago coming around the mountain pass. The train was meant to be a passanger train, but stopped for every sheep along the way. Well, the sheep slowly come out of their clothes reveiling a wolf appearance. And they ate, and ate, ate. Everything they could on the train until there was no more food left, but scraps.The train is still rambling down the mountain, no conductor, filled with wolves, and a few hungry people that manage to feed on scraps. The few people that remain are Die hards, hustlers, scam artists, and a few blind folks.

My Story started in 2004. I started selling digital items with resell rights. I would buy from another Ebay seller offering ebooks with resell rights. This was a great way for me to kick start my Ebay business. The ebooks costing only a few dollars. I started selling right away. I quickly learned the do's and don'ts, and was making from 50 dollars a week to 200 as a part time business.

One day, I purchased this book from an Ebay seller, "The Rich Jerk" I quickly listed the ebook and the following day my listing was removed due to copywrite infringement. What had happen is I purchased the ebook on Ebay from another seller, and his listing said I could resell the ebook. Well, to my surprise I not only got taken by the seller which did not have copyright permission, but I am not allowed to sell types of things now on Ebay that can be tied into scams. I was then told I could no longer sell certain items, like Watches, jewelry, Cd's, and major named products, like Guccio, and things like that.

Well, as you could imagine, I was devastated. Here's the short of it. I spent 2 weeks of my time, calling, emailing, writing and sending to everyone I could, even to the owner of the ebook, The rich Jerk, and let me tell you something, he really is a jerk! LOL

I. regrouped for awhile and started selling again. I would find the best deals on products and list them for sale on Ebay. Opened up another Ebay Store and was selling again making between 100 to 300 per week passive income. I soon realized about 6 months ago that my sales had dropped significantly and I investigated the reasons. Didnt take me very long to see.. Here's an example below

What Ebay does now is places sponsored ads below your listings. So if your selling watches on Ebay, Ebay will list the advertisers watches below your listings. This was why I wasn't selling and decided I either had to beat the sponser prices, or get out entirely. I'm out! Although i still list a few things for fun, but don't play the game anymore. I just keep thinking about that. The more i think about it the more it upsets me. I mean, its like setting up a hot dog stand and right behind you is a Burger King franchise. errrrrrrrrrr! Who was the Idiot that employed this into Ebay? This was my final straw.
