The reason the mods have have not sent this out is because I have been sick. We were going to do a conference yesterday and I was not up to it. So if you guys want to blame someone, then it is my fault.
We also are not going to make a rushed decision.
Neither am I going to take any bashing on this forum, the other forums will do enough of that as soon as we send a blast.
No matter what we do, we have learned from experience, some one will not approve.
As an investigative reporter I would think that this guy would want the facts. They are all in the documents. That should keep him busy reading for a couple of weeks.
If he wants stories of the disaster this has caused he wants to talk to the members.
And see how fast those two snakes crawled out from under their rocks,,,read the comments on his page and you will know who I am talking about.
And once he gets his story and the spin he wants to put on it...when will it be released and where?
It is not like he is going to publish a story on national news any time soon.
And he needs to talk to the insiders to get the information he wants, not the members who just have the horror stories and are living with the aftermath of the governments actions.
What he is going to get is about, if he is lucky, 200 "facts" from members who think they know the facts. And they will give him 200 different stories and they will be nothing more than opinions!!! That is all we have is our own opinion..

So you are advising us to do NOTHING and not respond to him at all?....very strange.....
I'm not for sure how important he would consider this issue if he gets the impression no one even cares.....we may not be able to suppy 'facts' (because we are not 'insiders') but we can still encourage him to go after them....and why would we want him to discover anything but the facts?....is there something to hide?
This forum has always been about supporting Andy and standing together....why are we now considered "you guys"?.....we are not on opposing sides, are we Barb?

It seems to me that, if this guy is a serious investigative journalist, he'd get his story straight BEFORE he started posting it on his blog. His latest blog post clearly confuses Golden Panda with ASD & seems to depend way too heavily on government-issue crap. Until we can be sure that he's not just another opportunist like Patrick Pretty or David Arnett, we need to be cautious.

What I am saying is that we, as members, do not have facts. We have opinions.
I hope that this guy can get the media coverage we need and not get people's hopes up.
This is what we are trying to avoid.
WE , you and I , are not on opposing sides but you can bet the anti-ASD'ers and Andy bashers will come out in full force as soon as this hits the emails. Which means that a couple of us have to be in here at all times. Then we will tick people off because we will delete the negative BS and the list goes on and on. So if we seem reluctant to send out a blast, we feel we have very good reasons.

I'm wondering who this Bruce Disner is that seemingly contacted Mike to start with, and began this "investigation". I'm not the least impressed with this "award winning" reporter as his first few tries were so full on non-facts it's obvious he didn't look very hard before he published.
I am also wondering what good, if any, he will do over a year late in the game, as it seems most of us have been over all of this many times before.

Thanks Barb and Kat. It will be interesting to see where this goes.. I understand both your concerns about putting anything out there for the members because of PP (patrick pretty what a name) and the other individuals that visit his site and continually post to keep his ego bolstered. I personally do not value anything PP says or does and sites like his or their minions who like nothing more then to belittle people and their suffering. The world unfortunately is full of their kind who serve no real purpose in life.

I can't believe this! The whole point of this forum was to bring news to people.. Isn't this news enough??? a CBS reporter????? You guys must not want the attention any more and are hiding something... that's very clear to me.. maybe something to do with AVGA I suspect.. too bad!
It's too bad it takes 3 people to do something... How many Mods does it take to plug in a light bulb?

Holy crap, Steve!! This is their forum, not yours. The point of this forum is to do what the forum moderators want done, not to do what Steve Watt wants done.
You have your own website, so do what you want done on it. Isn't that why you have your own website?

It is no joke. And I am tired of YOUR crap.
We did not want to get peoples hopes up. we did not want to put up with a bunch of BS.
Looks like we are going to have to do it any way.
You may be impressed with this guy, but Kat and I are not. What reporting he has done is not all together correct.
I emailed him and he asked that I NOT send an email blast... DID YOU READ WHAT HE EMAILED ME!!!! ooops, maybe I forgot to hit the add reply button.
It is our forum, there are plenty of other forums to post it on...Let PP or scam tear him up.
What I would like to know what is your vested interest in all this!!!
Now for the sake of peace and quiet, drop it. We are not going to send a blast/..Period.. END od discussion.
Maybe you can just tell them to check on my website for info as I post reports. I have been getting way too many phone calls and emails but don’t mind if they go to my website to read reports - thanks

Steve, exactly what "news" are you trying to bring to the people? Mike Mason is not "a CBS reporter." In fact, he's currently looking for full-time employment.
In any case, his interest in ASD is so slight (or perhaps biased) that, even though we contacted him with an offer to cooperate, he turned it down. He did tell us he doesn't mind, though, if our members visit his website to check the info he posts.
So, just how does this help?
