I think he's a little late, but better late than never! Maybe he could help speed up the process or shed new light on the case. It would be nice to see coverage on the ASD on the local news besides websites, blogs, and newspappers!

Go in and post on Mike Mason's blog. There are a few hate Andy/ASD people that have posted already. I personally do not understand these people but humanity unfortunately is loaded with their kind.

We need some rational opinions or thoughts that may possibly lead him to the information he needs to research. Although the joyluck club has everything there if Mr Mason has seen it.

I personally do not see the harm unless I am missing something. We do need help and so far we have not had any..

I was wondering if any member has a copy of the ASD Terms and Conditions or TOS? I thought I had copied it way back when but can't seem to find it. My reason for asking is Mike Mason keeps referring to the word investment (probably taken from the AG info) when in fact the correct terminology as we all know is advertising.

If you do have a copy please go to Mike Mason's blog and post it for him to read. May be of help. His blog link is on the joyluck club site above.

Yes, Ann, they do....but they can't if they know nothing about this....

Think how excited and eager we all would have been to have this opportunity a year ago.....hopefully there are still some who will want to respond to Mike Mason and tell their side of the story...the mods owe them this chance!

Wonder if there is any chance Mike will be able to talk with Andy?
(I hope Andy still wants to help us....)

Mike Mason's recent post

Ad Surf Daily (ASD) is designed to pay members dividends by surfing various business websites.The AG states the company "members were entitled to earn “credits” by viewing other members’ advertising websites. One credit was received for each viewing of another member’s website advertising."

The Florida AG says ASD is only able to pay members a profit when new members pay to join the company. In a complaint filed by Florida AG's special counsel Keith Vanden Dooren he states "Defendants have engaged in a sales or marketing plan or operation to induce and cause persons to pay consideration, or to make an investment, in excess of $100 and acquire an opportunity to receive a benefit or thing which is
not primarily contingent on the volume or quantity of goods, services or other property sold in bona fide sales to consumers and which is related to the inducement of additional persons to participate in the same sales or marketing plan or operation."

The company's members are said to total upwards of 100,000 and they've invested millions. They accuse the AG of holding their money hostage for nothing that they did wrong.

Marcia Breitenbach says she invested most of her savings in the company and is worried she has lost it all. "I'm trying to save my house, scraping by and others are much worse off than me."

Even though the AG accuses the internet firm of running a 'pyramid sales scheme', it has not yet provided evidence to support those charges. The second judicial circuit court in Leon County, Florida has given the Florida AG until next week to provide proof of wrong-doing.

Breitenbach is anxious for answers, "I've been patient and have contacted the Attorney General's office many times and have gotten nowhere."

Many ASD investors say they have no idea what's happening with their money and fear they could lose their life savings. The government has frozen assets totalling tens of millions of dollars but has not said how that money will be distributed.

The Florida AG has agreeed to respond to my inquiries by tomorrow and as I investigative this further I will deliver a detailed account of how this happened and what the next steps will be. You can subscribe to my blog for updates as soon as they are posted.

Hi Cathy,

I agree with you! It's nuts nut too inform all the ASD members.. Unfortunately, my computer crashed the other day and I no longer can send out to my 4,000 email list... It's just a shame..

I am wondering what, exactly, Steve Watt hopes to come from all of this? And why he wants the Mods to do a blast message? Why flood the guy with 4000 opinions on what happened? I tend to side with the Mods on this, Mike will get more info than he can deal with as it is without adding in 4000 more emails.

This reporter and his story will have no effect on the Federal civil case already in motion, a case which both sides seem to think may be coming to an end (according to Andy's own lawyers last motion) in whole or in part. Then the Court decides what happens to Andy's money, that he already released all claims to, in perpetuity back in January. Why he did that is speculative, that he did it is a fact. If this next Motion on the 28th doesn't pan out, things will go on as the were, slowly, and without any certainty.

One internet blog will do little to change that, I'm afraid.

Don, we will never know the outcome of Mike Mason's report. At this point we are at a standstill. Could it get worse then it is now? No one knows if this is a good idea or a bad ideal but for now it is an idea, something we have not had in the past. A voice! Are you the same Don that is posting on Mike Masons blog? If so then you are voicing your opinions and others have the same right if they wish.

I would hope the MODS would let all the members on this list know and then the members can decide if they wish to participate or not.

Ann, you have a voice as well, on this forum, which I dare say has a much wider readership (4000 members) than Mike Mason has on his blog. The fact that his blog was brought to our attention by UncleFesta, banned on forums more times than even I have, also lends it little credibility. He may have been the one who started the new investigative ball rolling, who knows.

Yes, I am the same Don, but I didn't need moderators to tell me I needed to go there and comment. That's not their job. They realize that if they send out a blast massage it then gives this blog some sort of power and relevance over what happens to ASD and Andy when it has none. This guy can dig up nothing that's not already known unless he can find out where all the cash went, which I doubt.

If UF is involved then trouble will be brewing.
Don is no where close in the race to how many times we have banned UF.
We will let you know as soon as we hear anything that is pertinent and this we we cannot be of any help.

First of all Don do not put words in my mouth. You are wrong in thinking or implying anyone is telling members what to do on this forum or Mike Mason's blog. I am sure there are many ASD members that do not visit this forum any longer, so how would they know. I think many feel a total loss and under the thumb of what the AG and Judge decide to do. Which by the way will most probably never change in favor of the ASD members.

Let them know about Mike Mason's blog and if they wish to participate fine if not fine.

I tend to lean towards the hope of all the members getting their advertising money back and if all this so called investigation does is nothing more then bring attention to the members who have suffered a loss or give them an avenue to personally express how they feel then so be it.

I certainly understand your point of view after reading your submissions on Mike Mason's blog.

As usual, you twist and cloud everything that is said.....
We finally have someone who is willing to 'investigate' this ASD fiasco and all you can do is deride and poke fun in an attempt to shut it down....looks like you got what you wanted....

I can't help but wonder what the dark secret is now....do you know, Don?
What if Mr Mason did his investigation and discovered that ASD asctually was a scam.....wouldn't that be what you'd want???? Why would you fight that?

The truth would set us all free......I say it should be uncovered!
I hate it when people hide the truth and then say they are doing it for my 'protection'....we need more people who take a stand for truth....

All along, we wanted Media coverage, now that its here, the Mods go in hiding... I can't think but it has something to do with AVGA. Ad View Global the new site Andy's son in law George and his wife Judy Harris are running into the ground... They probably do not want publicity now! I'm sure this is the reason....

It would tie Andy into a new scam, and his son-in-law and daughter...
